Plan a Legacy Gift

Welcome to Citadel Canine Society’s Legacy Circle, where your future generosity can create a lasting impact on both the lives of individuals with PTSD and rescue dogs in need. By planning a legacy gift, you are making a profound difference that will echo through generations to come.

Why Plan a Legacy Gift?

At Citadel Canine Society, our mission is to provide support and healing to veterans and first responders grappling with PTSD, and to find loving homes for rescue dogs. Your estate gift ensures that we can continue this crucial work, transforming lives and creating new opportunities for those who need it most.

How Your Gift Will Help

When you leave a legacy gift to Citadel Canine Society, you are investing in:

  • Transformational Support for PTSD: Your contribution will help us provide life-changing service dogs to veterans and first responders, offering companionship and assistance that can greatly alleviate the effects of PTSD.

  • Lifelong Homes for Dogs: Your support allows us to continue rescuing, re-claiming and rehabilitating dogs, ensuring they find a loving home where they can thrive.

Saving Lives Through Your Estate Gift

By including Citadel Canine Society in your estate plans, you directly contribute to saving lives
and making a tangible difference. Here’s an inspiring example of how your future gift can help:

MEET BOBBI and "DODGER":

One of the major issues our Military Veterans and First Responders face as they  deal with the challenges associated with PTSD, or OSI (Operational Stress Injuries) is the impact it can have on their families.  Bobbi is a recent Canadian Army veteran, diagnosed with PTSD.  Both her personal life, and of equal importance, her family dynamic, changed markedly once she received the wonderful PTSD medical service dog "Dodger" from Citadel Canine Society.  Originally sourced out of Texas, and trained in British Columbia, this dog was flown to Ontario and then paired with Bobbi. Almost immediately, Bobbi noticed that her own condition began to improve, and the positive change was also felt by her husband and their four children.  The positive impact was almost immediate, and very welcomed by her entire family.  Thanks to generous donations from our many donors, Bobbi's story is one of both hope and healing.  Your Estate gift can help ensure that many more veterans like Bobbi can receive the life-altering support they require.

Join Our Legacy Circle
