Saskatchewan Command is proud to announce the awarding of a research bursary to Jacob Cohen of the University of Saskatchewan. Jacob is researching the use of the anti-malaria drug Mefloquine and the link to the reported psychological and physiological effects.
Jacob served with the Israeli Armed Forces and has already begun research on the use of cannabis and the effects it has on PTSI. Adding the mefloquine portion is an important step as symptoms of PTSI and side effects of mefloquine are similar.
Congratulations to this young man, and thank you for your continued service.
