Boots4Pups Citadel Canine Society is pleased to announce that the Cpl. Nathan Cirillo Memorial Cup Challenge has been revamped, and is now an inspiring two day event. Citadel is supporting our Ottawa-based BOOTS 4 Pups committee  and partnering with Canoe Kayak Canada to include canoe and kayak racing on Saturday, October 1st, 2016 and a Elite canoe and kayak challenge on Sunday, October 2nd, 2016.

Canoe Kayak Canada is the umbrella organization that handles many exciting water sports for over 100 member clubs across Canada, and they also manage Canada’s Elite team activity for such major events as the 2016 Summer Olympics, and the Commonwealth, Pan-American, and Canada Games. We are very happy to be working  with this  professional organization .

Day One (October 1) of the event will involve open competition for the Public, Military and First Responders competitors. These events will be hosted by the Rideau Canoe & Kayak Club,  and Canoe Kayak Canada at Mooney's Bay.

Day Two (October 2) will involve Elite competition at Rideau Canoe & Kayak Club at Mooney's Bay.

The BOOTS 4 PUPS committee and Canoe Kayak Canada hope to see lots of boats and paddlers at the open events on saturday. More event details will be posted as they become available, and the general public is welcome to attend the events on saturday and sunday.
